“I perhaps owe having become a painter to flowers” - Claudet Monet

Pursuing my M.A in Fibers from Savannah College of Art and Design inspired me to interweave my passion for Art and Textiles, and in that overlap, I have found the most natural way to express myself.

In the harmony and diversity of nature, I look for repetition, composition, and celebration. The joy of being in nature during my morning walks becomes a conscious starting point to new design ideas. My hope is to integrate my education in Textile Design with artistic instincts to create something I love. I want my art to bring a sense of joy, optimism and playfulness in the world which I feel in the process  of creating it.
